Juvenile Justice Services Center Gym Mural

A mural installed in the Juvenile Justice Services Center Gym in West Philadelphia in the summer of 2015.  It is a celebration of local and national athletes of color and their achievements and was designed by Kien Nguyen.  I was the lead assistant artist for this mural.  I was the sole painter of Dawn Staley, Bernard Hopkins, the lacross player, and two of the three Olympic gold medals.  It features a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson which reads “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
